Yarnin' Up Hep C consists of two written resources designed to encourage conversations about hepatitis C. The purpose is to increase awareness of hepatitis C and prevent infections. They have been designed specifically for use with Indigenous communities in metropolitan Adelaide.
Community leaflet
The first resource is a small leaflet intended for wide distribution across Adelaide. It gives basic information about hepatitis C and how to avoid infection. It has been designed to fit in wallets and back pockets.

Education booklet
The second resource is a booklet for use by trained workers who are in a situation where they can talk with a person in more detail to answer questions and elaborate on the issues specific to them.
There are four sections in the booklet:
- What is hepatitis C?
- How is hepatitis C transmitted?
- Treatment and care
- Getting support in metropolitan Adelaide.
Each section has an introduction followed by a question and answer 'wheel' that you can turn in order to find answers to commonly asked questions.
