Narrative Approaches to Working with Children (NAHA)

April 21, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Narrative Therapy is a respectful, engaging and playful way to work with children and families. Narrative approaches support children and their families to reclaim authorship of their lives in the face of vulnerability and take steps toward their hopes and dreams.

This one-day workshop will present key ideas in using narrative approaches to support children through difficult times. Designed to develop your skills and knowledge in working with children, discussions will facilitate your thinking on how these ideas and practices may fit and build upon the work you are already doing.

Facilitator Niki Gelekis, Together 4 Kids, Clinical Supervisor has been using narrative approaches in practice for many years and is passionate about sharing her practice experience with others.
