Stigma and Domestic Violence

April 28, 2015 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Often we talk about stigma as something that is inflicted on the person by external environments, what role does the internalised stigma plays in the women’s life? What does stigma look like any way? The facilitator will take us through very interesting cultural factors which are shaped by our experiences in life. This workshop without a doubt will provide you with an insight to the lives of CALD women, their thoughts and their sense
of belonging.

This course is free for NAHA sector workers. Members outside the sector may apply if vacancies are available.
