Therapeutic Parenting is a program developed for carers and parents of children whose early life may have included neglect, abuse and trauma. Some of these children have challenging behaviours and parents may need more than the usual common sense parenting to develop healthy relationships with their children. The program enables parents and caregivers to explore the messages and reasons behind the behaviours and reactions, and consider supportive and effective ways of responding.
This program will;
- Support you to run therapeutic parenting programs with your client group
- Provide you with a facilitator’s manual, program materials including PowerPoint and readings.
Please note: this training assumes prior experience of running groups, although this is not a requirement for attending.

Cost of the two day workshop is $375.00, this cost includes a training manual and access to a website with downloadable Power Points and training resources.
