About

Recently updated and re-designed, Child Focused Practice is a free, interactive online program, developed in collaboration with the South Australian homelessness and family violence sector.

This course explores the impact of homelessness and trauma on children and provides practical information about how to support children and their parents.

Offering knowledge and skills to respond effectively to children in age appropriate ways, this training is equivalent to 7.5 hours of professional development.

Child Focused Practice Online was a finalist for Adult Learning Program of the Year in 2016 as part of Adult Learners’ Week.
