Course Information

This short course aims to develop your skills and knowledge so that you can support parents to notice and respond to their baby’s cues to enhance their nurturing relationship by providing a structured program of infant massage instruction in a group or with an individual baby and parent.

Combining attachment and attunement theories, it emphasises infant mental health and practical strategies for developing nurturing relationships in the first 1,000 days of life. This training includes online modules and a face-to-face practical day, tailored for therapeutic workers in family and community services.

Reflective practice will be further developed through access to the Baby Massage for Bonding Handbook for Frontline workers on completion of your online training.
