Course Description
In this half day workshop we will aim to develop a foundational understanding of the needs of people when they disclose child sexual abuse (CSA). We will look at the facts and figures associated with CSA in Australia and begin to explore the behaviours and responses that may be present for victims of CSA. We will explore ways in which people might make disclosures, as well as responses that help to lower feelings of shame and guilt. We will aim to equip attendees with tools and approaches to improve confidence and skills in this area.
Please note: Skills Centre Training (Port Augusta and Berri) is supported by the Department for Education, Government of South Australia.
