The Australian Institute of Social Relations is delivering this qualification in partnership with Relationships Australia NSW. This course uses a blended delivery mode of online assessments and activities with face-to-face training. The face-to-face component is available in Adelaide and Sydney.
Ensuring this course is meeting the needs of the sector, it has recently been updated with content from our new online training courses: Property Law and Practice Skills for Mediators and Working with Seniors – Safeguarding their Interests.
This course is also relevant to the sector with the inclusion of core skills in screening for safety and wellbeing; family and domestic violence; and child-focused practice.

- AVERT Family Violence Basics
- AVERT Family Violence Screening and Safety Planning
- AVERT Family Violence Responding to Perpetrators of Family Violence (value $55)
- Child Focused Practice Online
To achieve this qualification you must complete 50 hours of mandatory work placement. Eligible students are considered for work placements with Family Relationship Centres in most states and territories through the Relationships Australia partnership network.
