Reflective Parenting Conversations for Frontline Workers (NAHA)

Reflective Parenting Conversations is designed to support families, parents and children who have experienced crisis and trauma.

Developed as a psycho-educational resource to engage parents in conversations about parenting, this training supports workers in the homelessness and domestic violence sectors. These conversations recognise that in order to support a child’s development, parents must be enabled to provide a nurturing environment and relationship for their child(ren).

The Reflective Parenting Conversations Handbook encourages and supports frontline workers to utilise empathic and reflective listening styles, notice strengths and build resilience in parenting.

Workers attending this training will gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to have reflective parenting conversations ‘at the kitchen table.’

Brought to you by Together4Kids.

This training is FREE for NAHA funded services.
