In 2017, we’re offering Nationally Recognised Qualifications with flexible learning options to study online from anywhere in Australia.
This program is designed to support your learning and attainment of skills to develop, facilitate and co-ordinate projects for young people in a range of community based settings designed to address the social, behavioural, welfare, health, developmental and protection needs of young people.
Work placements for our Certificate IV in Youth Work students are available with Future Youth Initiative at Relationships Australia SA. A current child-related employment screening from DCSI (within the last 12 months) and completion of the RAN DECD training is required before commencing work placement.
Community Services career pathways include:
- support worker
- case worker
- client contact officer
- or community development worker in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
