In November 2014, the Institute hosted the inaugural Penelope Excellence User Group Conference, bringing together more than 40 Penelope users from across the country…
The conference was an opportunity for users to hear about the latest developments in the Penelope Client/Case Information System, discover best practices and network with others who are using Penelope.
The conference was kickstarted by Amanda Centritto from Athena Software, who took attendees through the new features of Version 4.1.
“We were lucky enough to have Amanda come out to Australia from Canada and share the latest features in person,” said Sandra Vallance, Director of Penelope Excellence.
“We also had Melissa Arcand from Athena join us for an afternoon session via Lync from Canada, so attendees had plenty of opportunities to ask questions directly from Athena, which was fantastic.”
The conference featured a keynote presentation from Judith Cross, CEO at Relationships Australia (SA), who shared the organisation’s journey using Penelope, and a presentation on the results of the Penelope Excellence User Survey, presented by Dr Jamie Lee and Sri Udakumbura from Relationships Australia (SA).
The conference also included presentations on the Reporting Suite, Tableau, Online End User Training and Penelope Excellence Managed Service Arrangements.
“Overall the conference was well-received by attendees, with many commenting that they particularly enjoyed the opportunity to network and learn from others using Penelope,” Sandra said.
